There are many rides
throughout the summer:

--> Many rides with other organizations in the Fairbanks area, i.e. HOG and CMA. (Harley Owners Group and Christian Motorcycle Assoc.)

--> Evening runs to local (sort of) eateries i.e. Delta Junction, Midway, Monderosa, Ivory Jacks, Chatinika, etc.

a few of our GWRRA events:

 

Weekly Chapter Ride

As soon as the weather is nice & the roads are clear, we will be going on leisure rides each week. Riders are asked to arrive by 4pm at the Regal Goldstream Cinema Parking Lot (furthest corner from Wendy's) each Saturday ... providing there is not another function taking place that day (ie Ride for Hope or Function at the Junction). We will decide that afternoon where we will ride to.

 

Byers Lake District Picnic -- June 14 - 15, 2008

This is one of those fun events where riders from all over the state come together for fun...camp-out style. This is an overnight event, with dinner and breakfast being served. Most riders bring either tents or camper trailers, plus there are usually chairs so that people can sit around and chat till the wee hours of the morning.

 

Region 'J' Rally in Whitehorse, YT -- June 20 - 22, 2008

Ride for Hope -- June 28, 2008

This ride benefits the Breast Cancer Detection Center of Alaska. It is a 80-110 mile long ride. A Five card fun run and 50/50 Bug Run. Sign-up will begin at 9:30 am, with everyone on the road by 10:30 am at the Honda Outpost on Karen Way. The entry fee will be $30 per hand, with 1st prize being 2 round-trip tickets on the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to Denali. Each participant will also be able to win a chance at a $500 gift certificate from the Harley Outpost with an extra $5 donation.

 

Function at the Junction -- July 25 - 27, 2008

An annual event sponsored by us, Chapter AK-B. A friday night get together for desserts, a Sat bug run ride to Chicken, and evening dinner at Fast Eddies and evening of fun entertainment down the road for free!!! Sunday morning breakfast is early so that our friends from Anchorage and points further south can get home in one day.

Please print off the application, fill it out, and bring it with you to the event. PLEASE DO NOT MAIL REGISTRATION FORM OR PAYMENT. It is too close to the event and we do not want anyone's information to arrive after the event. Please e-mail us at cdehaven@acsalaska.net of your intent to participate so we can have some idea of how many people to expect. Thanks a bunch and see you there!
