Welcome to the Farthest North Chapter of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, Alaska Chapter "B". Our Chapter Territory covers the Interior of Alaska and northward to Barrow Alaska (the upper two thirds of Alaska), as well as members in Juneau & Skagway. The majority of this area is above the Arctic Circle.

What does that mean? It means we ride from the time the ice melts off the roads in the early spring until it starts to snow once again in October, regardless of the temperature. We squeeze as much riding time in as possible during the 6 or 7 months we have and spend the rest of the time dreaming for the Sun to shine once again.

During the winter our Chapter continues to meet together on the second Wednesday of the month at Denny's.

Letter from the Director

Thank you for looking at “The Goldwings of the North” website. Although our group is small compared to the chapters elsewhere, we strive to have fun and be civic minded. As you look through our web site you’ll see different rides and rallies mentioned. Our two big events each year are the ‘Ride for Hope’ in June and the ‘Function at the Junction’ at Tok in July. More information on each is available on the events page. We often get together on Friday night and ride somewhere for a bite to eat and friendly chit chat. This coming summer will prove to be interesting as we’ve been approached by several different motorcycle clubs to participate in their events as well as our own. As far as I’m concerned the more the merrier!!! This being said, things could happen on different days then they had in the past. The Christian Motorcycle Club (ie CMA) is interested in riding with us and us with them. As details become available I’ll pass this information on. As you can see, there are numerous opportunities to ride this summer.
